In email marketing to schools you do have to get three factors right to get the best possible response…

1. You have to reach the right people at the right time, with an advertisement that grabs attention, focuses on benefits and pushes the readers onto your website ready to make a purchase.

2. The page on your website needs to be written for the teachers you are reaching, in a style that will grab and hold their attention and convince them to make a purchase.

3. You need to gain the email addresses of people who show an interest in your advert, but don’t go on and buy.  This is one of the key factors in email marketing, it is easy to do, but it is also the issue that most companies fail to activate which is why their sales rates are not as good as wished for.
