There are two types of email addresses used by schools:
- Personal email lists (which go directly into the in-box of the individual to whom they are mailed) and
- Generic lists (which go to the school office, amidst all the spam, emails from parents and other adverts.)
Personal lists are much better performing than generic lists, as you would expect, but also will cost more to send out because of the research that goes into building and maintaining such lists. But you can select teachers by school type and by the subject they teach, which means your emails can be very targeted.
